If you’re thinking about subscribing to a VPN service you’ll know that discounts are always available, but we’ve long known that Surfshark’s rock-bottom £1.55 / $1.99 per month offer wouldn’t stay around forever.
When the company started it out, its service wasn’t a patch on what it is now, and you’re getting a lot more for your money in 2020 than you were a couple of years ago.
Indeed, Surfshark currently sits at #3 in our chart of the best VPN services. It offers 1700 servers in 63 countries, unblocks 15 Netflix regions plus new streaming services such as Peacock and Disney Plus. A few servers are virtual locations – meaning they’re not physically located in those countries – but it’s certainly not a deal-breaker.
It recently upgraded its servers so they run using only RAM: no data is written to hard drives. This is better for security and along with the zero-logs policy, it’s a fine choice if you’re also after privacy as well as being able to unblock content.
Download speeds are impressive and there is no limit to how many devices you can use with the service at any one time. Most other VPN providers charge more and restrict you to five or six devices.
You also get a couple of extra features with Surfshark such as GPS spoofing, which is another measure that helps to prevent anyone from identifying your real location, plus two-factor authentication which helps prevent anyone from hacking your account.
Get Surfshark for £1. 55 / $1. 99 per month.
Surfshark hasn’t yet said what the increased prices will be, but what is certain is that this is the absolute last chance to get the service for just £1.55 per month ($1.99 in the US).
