Woods opened at 50-to-1 odds at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook to win the tournament but was adjusted to 40-to-1 the day before it tees off.  The SuperBook also posted a prop on whether Woods will make the cut, opening “Yes” as the -140 favorite but moving the price up to -150. Woods has won this event seven times and has another win on the course at the 2008 U.S. Open.

Woods had “ample support at -140,” Jeff Sherman, the Westgate’s oddsmaker for golf, told The Linemakers on Sporting News in an email.

Last week in the Waste Management Phoenix Open, Woods missed the cut after posting a second-round 82, the worst round of his career. Tiger’s former swing coach Hank Haney does not believe his former pupil’s troubles are close to being fixed.

“When you have the yips, you have issues, this isn’t just going to go away,” said Haney.

Play starts Thursday at noon ET, with Tiger set to tee off at 12:20 p.m. ET.  Check out all the tee times here .
